In May 2023, TPF Sp. z o.o. signed a contract with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) for the preparation of design documentation for the project titled “Construction of the S12 Expressway Lublin – Dorohusk, section Piaski – Dorohusk (excluding the Chełm bypass), section 2: structure WD-08 (excluding the structure) – structure WD-15 (excluding the structure)”.

The scope of the agreement includes the preparation of a Technical-Economic-Environmental Study with elements of the Programme Concept (STEŚ-R), along with materials required to obtain the Environmental Decision, as well as the tender documentation necessary for the implementation of construction works under the “Design and Build” system.

The project is divided into four stages:

• Stage I – preparation of Part I of the STEŚ-R and development of materials for the application for the Environmental Decision,
• Stage II – further detailing of the STEŚ-R, preparation of design base maps, and development of geotechnical and geological-engineering documentation,
• Stage III – preparation of tender documentation enabling the contracting authority to conduct the procurement procedure for selecting a contractor under the “Design and Build” system,
• Stage IV – support for the contracting authority during the tender procedure, including providing clarifications and responses to contractors’ inquiries.

The implementation of this project represents another important step in TPF Sp. z o.o.’s contribution to the development of Poland’s national road infrastructure, enhancing regional connectivity and improving road safety standards.
