We’re pleased to announce that we have signed a contract for the development of design documentation and provision of author’s supervision for the construction of noise barriers along sections of the E-65 Warsaw–Gdynia railway line and line no. 202, located within the Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The scope of work includes comprehensive design activities, such as:

  • preparation of concept and construction designs for the noise barriers,
  • obtaining all necessary permits and approvals,
  • development of tender documentation,
  • provision of author’s supervision during project implementation.

The project is being carried out for PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. – Railway Line Maintenance Centre in Gdynia. Its objective is to reduce railway noise pollution and restore the surrounding environment to its proper condition.

The works cover a total of over 90 noise barriers located in the following districts: Kwidzyn, Malbork, Tczew, Gdańsk (county), and the cities of Gdańsk, Sopot, and Gdynia.

This is an important step for us in creating more livable spaces around railway infrastructure.
For this project, we have developed a dedicated modeling tool specifically for the structural (not acoustic) aspects of the noise barriers. More details coming soon!

For now, we’d like to thank PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. – Railway Line Maintenance Centre in Gdynia for their trust, and we look forward to new challenges!
