Architects of TPF Sp. z o.o. have prepared the reconstruction design of the 50-year-old building occupied by Institution of Culture of Katowice – the City of Gardens. A building permit was obtained on 27 August 2021.

The project covers a gross area of nearly 26,000 m2. The renovated building will accommodate, among others, a multi-functional auditorium with necessary facilities, conference space, workshop rooms, theatre space, hotel and offices.

The project involves spatial changes and renovation of the building fabric aimed at reducing the demand and consumption of energy. The reconstruction will not change the general architectural form of the building. The division into three segments and the characteristic overhanging mass with the auditorium inside will be preserved.

TPF Sp. z o.o. has developed a multi-discipline project documentation and obtained a set of administrative agreements and decisions, including the building permit.
