On August 4, 2022, the TPF/Databout Consortium signed two contracts with GDDKiA for the project titled: "Design Documentation for the Construction of the S10 and S50 Expressway – A1 – Warsaw Agglomeration Bypass", divided into two parts:
PART I – Technical, Economic, and Environmental Study (STEŚ) with materials for the environmental decision for the project "Construction of the S10 Expressway from A1 to the provincial border".
PART II – Technical, Economic, and Environmental Study (STEŚ) with materials for the environmental decision for the project "Construction of the S10 Expressway from the provincial border to DK50 and the S50 Expressway from DK50 to S7". The S10 Expressway project, located in central Poland, aims to connect the Bydgoszcz–Toruń agglomeration with the Warsaw agglomeration, spanning over 100 km.
The task involves analyzing possible route options, integrating the investment with existing, under-construction, and planned roads, and assessing alternative modifications to the transportation network. The project’s objective is to select the most optimal route variant, which will receive an Environmental Decision, allowing further stages of the investment to proceed.
