We are pleased to announce the completion of one of the key railway infrastructure projects in northeastern Poland in recent years — Olsztyn Główny Station has officially been opened to the public.
It’s been a while since our last update on this project, but today we're catching up by sharing photos that highlights the scale and design quality of this modern transport hub.
As the authors of the station’s architectural concept and responsible for design supervision, we are proud to see the results of years of planning, design work, and collaboration. Our aim was to create a functional, contemporary, and user-friendly space – a new landmark for the city of Olsztyn, the capital of the Warmia and Masuria region.
The comprehensive redevelopment included not only the main station building, but also the track layout, platforms, pedestrian underpasses, and accompanying infrastructure. The entire complex has been adapted to meet high standards of accessibility, comfort, and integration with the urban landscape.
The station is impressive both during the day and after dark – thanks to carefully designed lighting, modern materials, and consistent urban aesthetics.
Special thanks go to the Contracting Authorities PKP PLK S.A., PKP S.A., the General Contractor of the construction works TORPOL S.A., and our Partners who contributed to the creation of this modern transport infrastructure facility.
