Construction of the S19 Expressway on the Kock – Lubartów Section

On September 29, 2022, TPF Sp. z o.o. signed a contract with Rubau Polska Sp. z o.o. for the preparation of design documentation for the project: "Design and construction of the S19 expressway Białystok – Lubartów, Kock (beginning of the bypass) – Lubartów North Interchange, Section 2: Kock (end of the Wola Skromowska bypass) – Lubartów North Interchange (excluding the interchange), approx. 15.824 km long."

The planned investment is located in the Lublin Voivodeship, within Lubartów County and the municipalities of Lubartów and Firlej. Approximately 70% of the planned S19 expressway follows a new route, mainly across agricultural areas, bypassing settlements along the designated corridor. The remaining section runs parallel to the existing DK19 national road. The surrounding area is predominantly agricultural and forested.

The scope of the investment includes the construction of a dual carriageway expressway, the reconstruction of the existing road network, and the development of engineering structures, road interchanges, and access roads for adjacent areas. The project also involves the construction of Service Areas (MOPs), emergency crossings, emergency access points, and land stabilization for road maintenance purposes. Additionally, it covers the implementation of a drainage system, environmental protection measures, and the relocation of conflicting infrastructure and utility networks. A telecommunication network for the contracting authority, road lighting, road signage, and safety equipment will also be installed, along with necessary ground reinforcement.

This project plays a key role in improving road infrastructure and connectivity in the region, enhancing both safety and transport efficiency.
