On February 1, 2022, TPF Sp. z o.o. signed a contract with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for the implementation of the project titled: "Technical, Economic, and Environmental Study with elements of the Program Concept for the project ‘Construction of the Szalejów Górny bypass on National Road No. 8’ along with materials for the environmental decision."

The initially planned scope of the investment included, among others:

• construction of the bypass for Szalejów Górny between the intersections designed as part of the DK8 expansion (section Szczytna – Kłodzko) at approximately km 28+620 and km 31+600,
• construction of intersections,
• construction of exits as required by the local terrain,
• construction of engineering structures,
• construction of communication links to serve areas adjacent to the designed road,
• construction of a drainage system for the planned road layout,
• construction of environmental protection devices, road equipment, and technological ducts,
• construction of road safety devices,
• implementation of final vertical and horizontal road markings,
• construction of road lighting,
• stabilization of slopes,
• reconstruction of conflicting technical infrastructure.
